Hey Everyone!!

It has been a while since I have done an update. I have been lazy since we have a few others that post ;) I have a decent bit of screen shots and information to put out there. I will cover LIVE Server drops and such first, then move on to the event testing and such. Enjoy :)

I made one big lazy picture, because I did not want to upload them one at a time like I normally do. I left out a bunch of drake drops, and a bunch of zero dropping dark elders. I left out a few chats with the genius monitor3 as well as someone offering to sell adena and offering leveling services.

Here is the large photo I was talking about. It includes a bunch of the boss drops, some funny chats and a bunch of end shots when I went ape shit during the karma event due to the amount of bots. I started with a 0 pk count prior to the event and I ended up with 121 pk's when things were said and done. Oh, and one of the end shots was when Sru and his bot Jew crew tried to bring war to our pledge, yea we were not having it!

Now on to what everyone has been asking for. A few of us from Dep, and a few from our Blood Pledge decided to take part in the testing for the upcoming Boss Island Event. I will not post the dialogue answers as I do not want any bots stumbling across this, although I heard there are already chinese translations of this available...zzzzz!

Anywho, it is quite similar to the last event with a few changes. You start off and have to answer a series of questions to get to Bunny Island. Once on Bunny island you lay waste to a bunch of bunnies and collect various parts that drop there (pictures below). You need to collect enough to craft a key which will take you to the boss island. Secondly, there are event belts available for this event. Initially they were not so great, but they made a few updates, and they are actually quite nice. I do not know the stats on all of them, however, I do know the stats on the knight and DE belts.
The belt is just like the one pictures below, except it now has perm haste attached to it as well as weight reduction which doesn't show up on the stats anyway.

The De Belt is pretty close to the same, except it has +1 str, +1 dex and +1 wis as opposed to the +2 stats. Everything is is identical though. Mage I know has some MP regeneration and less AC overall. I do not know on the others though sorry :( It should also be noted that there are two different versions of the belts, a 1-39 and a 40+. The 40+ having superior stats of course.

There are a few different bosses this event as opposed to the last. Phoenix, Baranka and Death Knight have left the building but have made way Ice Queen, Iris and Knight Vlad. They renamed the bosses, but they are essentially those bosses. Grim, Mambo Rabbit and Beleth have returned (I think it was Beleth last time, if not is was Bapho). The 4 rare spawning bosses are the 4 elemental dragons, but I have not encountered them personally, so I cannot speak on their strenght and drops.

It should also be noted that KV and Grim are the only bosses that break weapons, so either bring whets or a weapon that cannot be damaged. Mambo rabbits and Beleths are soloable ( I am testing with a level 45 str knight with decent gear and can kill both of those with no problem).

Iris and IQ have pretty high AC and are a pain, but it is possible to solo though with a char that can do enough Damage per second. Grim isn't so bad, but has a pretty powerful magic attack. Also, like last time, KV is like Baranka and it is highly recommended to weapon break him or he will put it on ya.

Now on to the drops. I haven't had a whole lot of time with these bosses yet (after they were adjusted) but I must say that from what I have heard, the drops are halfway decent now. Though, the scroll rate should be raised, as well as the overall drop rate on the rarer items. Please note that many items that drop are in-fact blessed, although regular / neutral variants can drop as well.Overall though, it was good enough for me to decide to put in a leave slip for that week. Anyhow...
